Frank and Cate Howell’s Mud in Your Eye practical pottery shop on Harris Ave is expanding its gallery to better display dinner, kitchen and serving wares. Their studio space - where you can watch Frank creating pottery - is also expanding. All will be ready for this weekend’s Ski to Sea Festival - marking 9 years since they opened during the festival in 1996.

Don White’s Skylark’s Hidden Cafe is also expanding - but he will temporarily close for a couple weeks starting Monday, June 13, to complete the interior renovations. He will reopen early July with a new dining room - complete with beautiful new bar - on an 11th Street entrance to the restaurant. The woodworkers are building beautiful counters and a great-looking black walnut bar.

We are open every day of the week. Stop by and see what we have on display.
