This website had over 10,000 visitors in May

- the largest number ever. They downloaded over 28,000 pages - with three business categories surpassing the Buzz for the first time. They are Dining, Shops and Health.

And with success, the rate for business listings is being raised. Businesses with paid full listings as of June 15 will have price protection through May 2006 - a full year. This is in thanks to those owners who have helped this site grow.

The rate will increase on June 16 from $125 to $150 for a six-months full listing. A full year will be discounted to $275, only 75 cents a day.

A new ‘basic listing’ is available immediately. A business name, address, phone number and inclusion in the Fairhaven businesses index page costs only $120 for a full year. That is 33 cents a day. This is a great bargain and fulfills a need that some owners have expressed to me.

I will be gradually pruning the eight business category pages, between now and July 1, to show only those businesses that are subscribed. If you used to subscribe but have let your subscription lapse, there is time to get in on the lower rate.
