The Fairhaven Fund has reached its goal

of $25,000, according to Brian Griffin. This fund is a reserve for severe damage to the Village Green - damage that might not be covered by normal city park maintenance. The plan is to keep a minimum of 25 grand available.

As fund raising continues, monies above the goal will be used for public art in Fairhaven. Brian and his Bowler Hat Society friends have shown inexhaustable energy raising money for the fund this past year.

The Bocce tournament
this weekend will contribute more. The sale of brick pavers around the Village Green contributes. Bowler hat sales, of course, contribute. There are now 196 members of the society. And growing.
