have pulled their projected plans to build an office building on the Fairhaven waterfront just south of Douglas Street. I talked with Ken this morning, and he says that the Port Commissioners were unwilling to extend his option the nine months that was needed for reworking the plans in cooperation with residential neighbors. They were asking for a 9-month extension, and Ken said they probably should have asked for even a bit more in order to do the revised planning properly. So, Ken and his partners have abandoned their effort for development of this property.
