Haircut to Honor Cancer Victims
On May 3rd, Bellingham Tennis Club owner Robin Robertson will be cutting off 10 inches of hair to donate to ?Locks for Love,? an organization that makes wigs for those undergoing cancer treatments who have lost their own hair. She?s also hoping to raise $100 per inch, or at least $1,000, to donate to the American Cancer Society.
Robertson has lost numerous family members and friends to the disease, including her mother-in-law just last year. She hopes to encourage contributions for cancer research and honor victims and survivors. All amounts are accepted, from the pennies in your pocket to the big wads of cash in your checking account. Donations are tax deductible and are accepted at the Bellingham Tennis Club, 800 McKenzie Ave in Fairhaven. Call 360-733-5050 with questions.
