of our Fairhaven Market this evening. Starting tomorrow, the store will be under the management of Haggen, Inc. Their plans are to keep the name and allow the store to continue to be a neighborhood grocery store. The one thing I’ve heard from most folks is they are relieved that ‘the CARD’ will not be used at this store.

Haggen is a Bellingham company with a strong sense of our community. All shops and businesses in Fairhaven continue to be locally owned. We welcome them to Fairhaven and look forward to their making our grocery store even more fun to shop at.

We thank Barry and Anne Kramer for their nine years of effort in making the Fairhaven Market such a great grocery store. The very friendly service and locally grown foods have been especially appreciated.
