A 49-passenger water ferry that will ply Bellingham Bay between Fairhaven and Bellingham this summer. Finally. A water taxi for our several-mile-long waterfront. The 37-foot vessel will be operated by Victoria - San Juan Cruises. It will take a scenic 45 minutes to go between Squalicum Harbor and the Fairhaven Cruise Terminal several times each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting on the Memorial Day weekend and ending on Labor Day. The ticket price will be only $12 for a round trip or $6 for one way. We thank Nancy and Captain Drew for their enterprising spirit in bringing us this waterfront taxi. May it be a succes |
