on the Village Green this week. Above, Dave Grabosky fills the sandblasted letters with black paint. At $50 bucks per paver, the Village Green Fund is rapidly growing. The goal is $25,000, to be held in reserve for repairs beyond the Parks Department budget. Funds raised beyond that will be used for art projects in Fairhaven. Brian Griffin, the go-to guy for all Village Green projects, says the fund is growing nicely with broad support from the entire community. He will announce when the fund reaches its goal.

The paver above was donated by The Walrus music group, who played for one of the outdoor movies last summer. They took the paver in lieu of their fee to help the Village Green, with the paver being paid for from the movie fund. We have a page posted with information for buying a paver.
