Dirty Dan Harris will be created for the Village Green. Dan will be reclining on a park bench - sitting and enjoying the ambience of modern Fairhaven. His right arm will be extended out along the top of the backrest, allowing folks to sit down with Dan for a chat - or a photo. Expect an announcement this coming week. Also expect the announcement naming the generous corporate sponsor of the statue. ($35,000) Lots of secrecy. Can’t tell you who yet. The Village Green construction will start this week. Expect a mud hole till January. Completion is expected before Feb 1. Big Halloween planned for kids in Fairhaven. If you are a shop owner, contact Jacci at Jacci’s Fish & Chips for more info. |
