Annual events planner

Year around there are special events and celebrations in Fairhaven. We've included extra information for contacting event managers if you are a vendor or want to participate. See the Events in Fairhaven page for the full schedule for the next few weeks.

February
Official Pacific Northwest Rain Festival

Saturday after Super Bowl
Feb 12, 2011 - Feb 11, 2012 - Feb 9, 2013 - Feb 8, 2014 - Feb 7, 2015

From 11:45 am to 12:30 pm. A fun, goofy mid-winter happening with rain poetry, rain gear fashion show, music, and rain prediction when we pet the pug. Everyone is welcome to enter a rain poem and enter the rain gear fashion show. Prizes from Fairhaven merchants. A participatory event - and a good antidote for the winter blahs. Come join us for the fun. It is a little different each year. In 2010 it was true to its unorganized and Fairhaven roots by first being cancelled in early January and then reorganized by Raining Queen Diane into a very fun event on Feb 13. It has moved from the first Saturday in February to the Saturday after the Super Bowl - just to better fill a weekend with nothing else happening. Plan to join us for some midwinter fun.
